We are very excited to announce that Charlie Brosens will be joining us on May 20th as Vice President where he will co-lead our acquisitions and originations efforts with Ben.
Charlie joins us most recently from Alden Global Capital where he worked to monetize the real estate holdings of Alden’s portfolio companies including Fred’s, Digital First Media and Payless. Prior to Alden, Charlie was with the Ardent Companies, where he underwrote, sourced and asset managed debt and equity opportunities. Charlie graduated from Columbia Business School in 2013 and Princeton in 2010. Some Charlie fun facts:
• Charlie and his wife Simone recently got 22 pounds of fluffiness in a Bernedoodle named Cholula
• Charlie is taking cooking classes this month prior to starting with us (ask him about mise en place)
• Charlie was captain of the varsity tennis team at Princeton and is available for tennis lessons
