In addition to direct common equity investments, the Fund makes senior debt and preferred equity investments in the middle-market. Given the current market conditions in which liquidity is limited and financing is difficult, USC focuses on time constrained opportunities, as well as special situations with non-traditional or complex underlying dynamics.
